Software company, Snowdrop has begun the roll out of its new HR consultancy with the appointment of Kirsteen MacBrayne, who was recruited by Allen Associates.

In her role in leading the HR function at DialogueDirect Fundraising, MacBrayne was part of the senior management team. She will be tasked with assisting in the growth of the new consulting service.

The launch came about because Snowdrop was often picking up on problems, for example noticing a high number of Statutory Sick Pay days on the system, when it was dealing with data as part of software implementation according to Tim Tobin, commercial director at Snowdrop. By launching the HR consultancy the company will be able to provide advice when it notices a problem such as this. "Now we can advise them on the full range of human resources issues, from best practice to the latest legislation," said Macbrayne. "We can now offer an all round service to a range of companies - from SMEs who can't yet afford their own HR function, to big companies needing support on specific projects."
