Agency to Benefit from Central Source of Information Pay Magazine, June 2007 HR staff at the South West of England Regional Development Agency will benefit from a central source of information when the Agency implements software it has purchased from Snowdrop Systems. A phased implementation will see the records management, recruitment and training administration modules going live first, with U-Access, which provides online access for line managers and employees, being rolled out at a later stage. The Agency currently relies on paper-based systems and spreadsheets. By introducing the software the Agency hopes to generate time savings, thereby providing a better level of customer service to employees. Risk consultancy Control Risks is also planning to use a two-phased approach to implement Snowdrop’s recruitment, personnel and online access modules. The consultancy’s software purchase is driven by its aim of becoming the leading consultancy in its sector. Phase one will see personnel records and recruitment centralised in London, while in phase two Control Risks’ 800 employees will be given access to the online system. The consultancy has 20 offices worldwide, with HR teams also working across the globe, making data integrity an important issue. |
