Snowdrop Scoops Two Awards at the National Sales Awards 2004 Last year Simon Carter, Sales Executive at Snowdrop Systems, was presented with the prestigious "Telemarketer of the Year" award and what could be better than to follow that this year by Snowdrop’s Sales Team picking up two more extremely prestigious awards! The first was awarded to Sales Executive, Nicola Clemson for "Sales Newcomer of the Year-Products". The criteria includes the ability of the entrants to absorb the initial training and to develop the necessary skills for a successful sales career. Initial results and attitude in this category are as important as a professional approach including the care taken to safeguard the interests of the customer and employer. Additionally the judges looked at how preparation is being made for future career progression. The second award was awarded to Sales Executive, Jen Paice for "Sales Person of the Year-IT". This award focused on the ability of the individual to place great emphasis on serving the interests of both their customer and their company. The judges looked not just for outstanding results but also a thoroughly professional approach. Effective time management and planning also played a large part in the judging criteria. After the glittering ceremony attended by 1500 guests, nominees and sponsors’ representatives Clemson and Paice commented: ’Being nominated and short listed to a finalist for a national sales award was a fantastic achievement in itself. The Awards Night itself was amazing, especially winning both award categories!
