Online recruitment Made Easy with Snowdrop
May 2004

HR and payroll software provider Snowdrop Systems has signalled the end of manual application form processing with the launch of a new recruitment function as part of Spring, its recruitment, administration and selection software.

The new function lets organisations gather data from potential employees via their company website. People can apply online for a vacancy by sending their CV or filling in an application form and can also ask for more details of jobs they’re interested in.

The information is fed into Spring directly so the administration team don’t need to input it twice. It is then effortlessly checked against the database to see if that person’s details are already on file.

The new function lets organisations respond more quickly to job applications. Emails and letters can be sent to candidates within seconds so they can be kept informed at each stage of the process. This helps promote a positive picture of the type of employer they are.

Michael Richards, Snowdrop Systems’ chief executive, comments: "With online recruitment becoming the norm, this addition to Spring lets companies make a better job of getting new talent on board quickly. The online information means staff can spend more time on strategic recruitment issues and less on excess administration."
