New College Oxford Graduates to Snowdrop

New College Oxford, one of Oxford University’s largest colleges, has bought software from HR and Payroll software provider, Snowdrop Systems.

The college will be using Snowdrop’s Evergreen (Personnel) software to better manage absenteeism amongst its 400 staff. HR will be moving from spreadsheets to the computerised system, which will not only improve current procedures, but also allow enhanced monitoring of absence levels. Yvonne Goodgame, HR & Payroll Officer, says that Snowdrop’s absence graphs will be particularly useful in heightening staff awareness of sickies.

Goodgame has high hopes for the system. ‘There are lots of areas that have made me realise what we can do, such as pension payments and salary modelling for salary increases.’ With Snowdrop’s potential, Goodgame foresees moving from a simple one-user system to a stage where the system will be used throughout the college.
