Synergy Group Recruits Snowdrop for HR Software

The Synergy Group has bought HR software from Snowdrop to centralise the information of its 120 employees and improve the quality of its data.

The Synergy Group will be implementing Snowdrop's Evergreen (personnel records management) solution with Snowdrop Reports. The aim is to introduce a 'whole' system so that information can be produced from one place. Currently records are distributed amongst various systems, including Word and Excel, creating a lot of unnecessary work. Synergy will use Snowdrop's new Fastrack implementation service, which means software can be installed within 4 weeks.

The HR team hopes that through Snowdrop's HR system it will be able to provide much better information for the board, including HR strategies, trends and plans for investment. Reports will be particularly useful for analysing benefits and also collating data for the Sunday Times' Top 100 Companies. Debbie Hutchinson, HR Manager for the Synergy Group, comments: "We want everything to be more manageable so that we can work smarter. I don't want to be counting up on my thumbs anymore!"

The HR team plans to develop the solution as its needs grow, viewing Evergreen as the stepping stone to much greater things. Debbie says: "Our aim is to get all the core HR information in place and then bolt on other modules once we can show how well it works." She adds, "Snowdrop knocked the spots off the competition, I didn't even have to convince the Finance Director; the Fastrack approach is perfect for us."
