Fläkt Woods Brings a Breath of Fresh Air to HR

Fläkt Woods, a leading specialist in Air Climate and Air Ventilation, has purchased software from HR and Payroll solutions provider, Snowdrop Systems.

Fläkt Woods will be implementing Snowdrop’s Evergreen (Personnel), Spring (recruitment) and U-Access (self-service) modules. The windows system will be accessed by 4 members of the HR team, with on-line access being provided to line managers and eventually the top 30 managers.

Fläkt Woods need an HR system to consolidate its 400 HR records, which are currently held amongst a mainframe database, spreadsheets and word documents. The HR team decided to purchase Snowdrop due to its user-friendly, windows interface and sophisticated functionality, including organisational charting. Amy Wyatt, HR Officer at Fläkt Woods, feels that the system is simple to understand and will reduce the amount of manual input and admin tasks, whilst enabling HR ‘to provide a more effective service’.
