Close Asset Finance Enriches HR with Snowdrop

Close Asset Finance, the leading finance specialist, has bought HR software from Snowdrop to manage the data of its 220 employees more effectively and ensure smooth organisational growth.

The organisation will move from Excel spreadsheets to Snowdrop’s Spring (recruitment); Evergreen (personnel records management) and U-Access (online access for line mangers and employees) modules, with a link to its existing Payroll solution. Linda Fox, HR Director for Close Asset Finance, regards the introduction of web access as imperative in moving employees into the digital age and enabling them to drive their own development. Fox also anticipates introducing Snowdrop’s benefits module for better employee engagement with benefit schemes.

Close Asset describes itself as an acquisitional company, with several acquisitions each year that require the ‘TUPEing’ of employees. Through using Snowdrop, the HR team can be confident that all new employee data will be quickly and accurately recorded in a centralised system - preventing any anomalies caused through unnecessary data duplication.

As part of the Close Brothers Group, Close Asset is made up of a number of different divisions, holding data in one location will prevent information blockages that can occur when passing data from one area to another, ensuring that each business unit MD can operate independently and efficiently.

Essentially, Fox anticipates a more reliable system that will give the company confidence in its data and allow the easy production of more meaningful reports that will add weight and credence at board level.
