BMS Sales Specialists Introduces HR Software November 2007 BMS Sales Specialists, the UK leader in providing permanent sales recruitment solutions, has bought HR software from Snowdrop to improve the accuracy and value of the HR data held on its 185 employees. The organisation will be implementing Snowdrop’s Evergreen (personnel records management) and U-Access (employee and line manager self-service) modules, using Snowdrop’s Fast Track implementation method, whereby the personnel system is installed within 4 weeks of purchase. The online system will also be rolled out with the view to go live in the new year. This contract follows the recent appointment of HR Advisor, Claire Wallington, to oversee the HR function and implement best practice HR processes. Currently the organisation uses an outdated HR system that requires extensive information updates. With Snowdrop, Claire anticipates having quick access to HR data, imperative for running a pro-active HR function. Snowdrop’s U-Access module will be implemented worldwide at BMS’ 6 UK offices and the offices in Dublin and Sydney, for all employees to access. Claire regards U-Access’ intuitive interface as essential in gaining optimum buy-in from employees. She comments: “In the long-term Snowdrop will support us with more efficient HR processes which most importantly will enable us to recruit and retain the right people, whilst reducing the associated costs.” |
